AREP Mentoring Program

This program is a monthly challenging case conference in multisubspecialty specifically
designed for radiology trainees. It is held on the last Sunday of the month from January to
October covering Emergency and Trauma Radiology, MSK Radiology, Neuroradiology, Body
Imaging and Cardiothoracic Imaging.

The purposes of this program are to boost experiences of radiology trainees and to encourage
the thinking and thought processes of trainees in approaching the cases. Trainees will have
opportunities to speak out, discuss and give their opinions with radiology mentors. We hope
that trainees will have more confidence in reading cases.

Our mentors are from leading academic institutes in the US (Wake Forest University School of
Medicine Winston-Salem, NC, Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA and University
of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM). Our mentors changed annually.

We have approximately 20-50 attendees per session. Our attendees are from Thailand, Laos,
Myanmar, Indonesia, Uganda and Nigeria.

We here are like a big family so there is no pressure on anyone, and we would like to invite our
radiology trainees to join our monthly event wherever you are. This will be a good learning
experiences and to practice your English and bravery!!
