AREP – Overview

Academic Radiology Education Program (AREP) is a non-profit radiology education program designed for radiology colleagues who are interested in and wish to have access to high quality radiology education. The program is led by Department of Radiology, Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA and our radiology allies from BHUTAN ( Mongar Regional Referral Hospital, Mongar, Bhutan), CAMBODIA (Calmette Hospital and Cambodian Radiology Association, Phnom, Penh, Cambodia), INDONESIA ( Cipto Mungunkusumo National Central General Hospital, Faculty of Medicine Universitas and Indonesian Radiology Society, Jakarta, Indonesia), IRAQ (Duhok University, Duhok, Iraq), LAOS ( Mittaphab Hospital and Faculty of Health Sciences, Vientiane, Laos), NEPAL (Nepalese Radiology Association), Myanmar (Myanmar Radiology Association), THAILAND (Siriraj Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand) and VIETNAM (Bach Mai Hospital and Vietnamese Radiology Society and Nuclear Medicine, Hanoi, Vietnam).

Our purpose of the program is to share experiences and expertise from the west to the east. We hope that this program is useful for our attendees in helping all of us get better radiology insights in terms of knowledge and practice.

We broadcast live multisubspecialty radiology webinar every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month from January to October. Our speakers are academic radiologists from the leading institutes in the US form Coast to Coast (University of Texas San Antonio, San Antonio, TX, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM, University of Texas Southwestern, Dallas, TX, University of Washington, Seattle, WA, Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Winston-Salem, NC, Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA, Louisiana Sate University Health Sciences Center, Shreveport, LA, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC, Tulane University, New Orleans, LA, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Miami, FL, New York University (NYU) Langone Health, Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI and University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX.
